Privacy policy

Finds by Chestnut is a simple website made of static pages. It's built to collect as little information about you as possible. This policy explains what that means.

The short version

• This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking pixels.
• This site does not set cookies.
• There are no accounts, sign-ups, comment forms, or contact forms.
• The only personal information I receive is what you choose to send by email.

Information collected

When you email

If you email hello@findsbychestnut.com, I'll receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. I use it only to read and reply to you. I don't sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Server logs

Like nearly all websites, the server that delivers these pages may automatically keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to build profiles of visitors.

Fonts

The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, Google receives standard technical information such as your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.

Links to other websites

Guides link to third-party retailers such as Amazon, Target, Walmart, and Wayfair, and to Pinterest. When you click a link, you leave this site, and that website's own privacy policy and cookie practices apply. Some of these links may be affiliate links. Affiliate partners and retailers may use cookies on their own sites to track that a purchase came from a referral; those cookies are set by them, not by Finds by Chestnut. Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
