About

Hi! I'm the person behind Finds by Chestnut. This is where I share handpicked finds for the whole household: home, holidays, gifts for every age, back-to-school, organizing, kitchen, travel and more.

I started the site because shopping online can feel endless. There are thousands of options for everything, and it's hard to tell what's actually useful, what will look good in your home, and what's worth the money. So I hunt down the useful, the pretty and the budget-friendly so you don't have to scroll forever. Fresh ideas and seasonal favorites are added often.

What you'll find here

Home decor for porches, entryways, and the rooms you live in every day.
Seasonal and holiday ideas, starting with Christmas and winter, then rolling through the year.
College finds: dorm and move-in essentials for students and the families helping them.
Family finds: gifts for every age, back-to-school basics, and everyday helpers.
Organizing: storage, kitchen, and routine ideas that keep a busy house running.
"Shop the look" lists that link to retailer search results, so you can compare current options and prices yourself.

How the shopping links work

Some links on this site are, or will become, affiliate links. That means if you click through and buy something, Finds by Chestnut may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps keep the site running. I don't list made-up prices or ratings, and the guides are written to be useful whether or not you buy anything. You can read the full affiliate disclosure for details.
